Who We Are

The Black American Grassroots Council (BAGC) is a nonpartisan political action council built by and for Black Americans. We organize communities, track legislation, and coordinate direct action at every level of government — from city hall to Capitol Hill.

We were founded on a simple conviction: that sustained, organized, and informed community action is the only reliable engine of lasting political change. BAGC builds the infrastructure that makes that action possible — connecting individuals with verified calls to action, civic resources, and a national network of organizers who share one mission.

We are builders, not bystanders. Our platform exists because Black communities deserve a dedicated, coordinated, and trusted hub for civic engagement — one that is free from partisan influence and committed to factual, action-oriented work.

By fostering collaboration, building strategic alliances, and by streamlining our advocacy, we encourage engagement, strengthen advocacy efforts, and mobilize the Black American Community to work together toward shared goals."

Our work spans the full spectrum of issues that shape Black American life: reparations, civil rights, immigration reform, education policy, economic justice, healthcare, and environmental protection.
